Even though I arrived right about closing time to pick up my bikes, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. I had put my bike rack on wrong and he and his worker helped me to fix it. They even put my bikes on for me. Not only do my bikes ride better, I received amazing service.
Having a local, family owned, honest ANYTHING is quickly disappearing in favor of larger corporate owned franchises. For bike shops however, Your Bike Shop is one of the last of those kinds of businesses that still remains. The owner is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. The prices are more than fair and the work is top notch. Any work I need for my bike, large or small, this is always the first place I go.
My spoke broke and I had it fixed there: great job, fair prize, nice shop, friendly atmosphere. Perfect! I wish there were more bike shops like that.

Art is a great guy and is always there when we need him, I know Art for over 20 years and as for myself I have been riding the East Bay Bike Path for 19 years this August of 2016!
